The hotel is a refurbished building dating back to the end of the 19th
century.
It was used as a lodge where travellers arrived by train to spend their holidays because of the numerous benefits the cool, dry climate offered.
The 1167 metres above sea level and its closeness to the Camarena Spa made the lodge a privileged place to spend some days of quiet and rest.
During the construction of the “Via Minera” or “Mining Way” which transported coal from the “Minas de Ojos Negros “ or “Mines of Black Eyes” to Sagunto (1900-1907) the lodge went through a period of growth due to the coming and going of the builders of the Via, which forced the owners to extend the initial facilities.

We have tried our best to preserve the original exterior of the building, the inside, its well which has been converted into a cellar for our wine and the terrace.
We have 14 double rooms with ensuite bathrooms, TV and heating. Each one with its own personality, their own names, colours, furnishings and fragrance will make your stay unforgettable.
Enjoy your summer evenings looking at the white clouds from our indoor garden, or perhaps you would prefer to choose a book from the library, and make yourself at home in the reading room with views of the Javalambre Mountain. In this cosy spot you can learn about the past of our land, its folklore, our gastronomy and geography.....a place to enjoy the warmth of a fire on cold winter days.
